PrintPaint shareware is a utility for printing and viewing paint files. These are files of type 'PNTG' created by MacPaint and various other programs. Please send in your $5 shareware fee if you use the program.
PrintPaint was written in MPW C using the DTS.Lib framework by Eric Soldan available on the Developer CD Series.
PrintPaint should run on all versions of Macintosh using systems 6 and 7.
Two Modes of Operation:
1. As a droplet:
Drop paint files on PrintPaint to print them. PrintPaint will open, print the files, and quit. This works only when using system 7.
2. As an application:
Launch PrintPaint as a normal application, then you can view and print paint files using File Open and Print. Dropping a paint file on an already open PrintPaint will print instead of open the file, however, PrintPaint will remain open.
You can print any number of paint files using the default memory configuration. The 384KByte allocation will let you view about five paint files at once. To view more you need to increase the memory allocation.
